Short Warning, a technical melodic pop-punk-rock outfit from London and Buckinghamshire with its own exciting sound and style, was formed when twin brothers Nick (bass) and Gareth (drums) met singer/guitarist Carl in college. The line-up was finally completed when lead guitarist Calum joined the band in early 2005.
In late 2005 the band recorded a five-track demo EP containing some of the best material yet with press quotes: “I quite hoped this would be good, but I didn’t expect it to be this good”. Breaking out of its local circuit in 2006, playing shows up and down the country,with tours with Useless id (kung fu) and 4ft fingers (golf) aswell as being filmed by redemption tv which has been broadcast on numerous occasions.Finally entering Stakeout studios in winter 2006 to record the debut album “Safety in numbers” .Now emerging out with 12 tracks of catchy and energetic pop punk that is soaked in melody the band are ready to hit the road and your screens and they aint taking any prisoners ! If you thought the usa only produced excellent punchy pop punk with bite , think again!!
